Pat Shanahan

Pat Shanahan is the current Vice President of the Rainbow Optimist Club. He is a charter member and been on the Board since the beginning.

Pat has worked for over 30 years in the public and not for profit sectors in the areas of social housing and health care. He currently works a Constituency Assistant for a local Member of Parliament. For 18 years, he served on the City of London Diversity and Race Relations Advisory Committee and was Chair of the Committee for a number of years. He and his partner of 28 years live in London Old North with their black lab. They recently finished 4 years of fostering LGBT2Q youth.
